The weekend is over, the week has begun. (can be sung to the tune to "Morning has broken")
Here are the words in case you get on a role: Morning has broken like the first morning; Blackbird has spoken like the first bird. Praise for the singing! Praise for the morning! Praise for them springing fresh from the Word! 2. Sweet the rain's new fall sunlit from heaven, Like the first dewfall on the first grass. Praise for the sweetness of the wet garden, Sprung in completeness where His feet pass. 3. Mine is the sunlight! Mine is the morning, Born of the one light Eden saw play!Praise with elation; praise ev'ry morning, God's recreation of the new day!
I love that hymn!!! If you don't know the tune you have to click on this link (do it on your second tab, so you can read my blog and hear the music at the same time!) http://www.cgmusic.com/cghymnal/others/m/morninghasbroken.htm
My good mood is not a result of ANYTHING- in case there are those of you who wish to draw strange conclusions. :o)
We have 8:00 games this week for Buddy. This is tough for visitors, but I look forward to sitting under the lights.
Martha has an orthodontist appointment mid-week. We are almost at the 1 year mark. She has been a trooper. Braces are one of the only inventions that still seems to come from the dark ages. Just look at them sometime.
We are expecting heat for the next few days. I must be diligent to water my flowers. It would be a shame to lose them in July. I have never been able to keep up watering for a garden. July was always the month when the heat would win and my plants would succumb to a slow death by dehydration or crowding out by weeds that could withstand summer heat. I am thankful for and happy to support my local farmer's market.
I will try to put out an update after Buddy's BIG game tomorrow. I hope you all have a great day and great week!!!
