I told my husband that I was going to call him "Steve Nash" on my blog. (we have a running joke between us from the Simpsons- when Homer is talking to Marge and he forgets reality and says, "like when my dad, Tom Bosley..." and Marge says, "that was Happy Days, Homer." and Homer says, "They weren't all Happy Days, Marge." ) He reminds me a little of Nash- he is a good basketball player and cannot be underestimated!
I caught my son (I'll call him "Buddy") watching a Steve Nash MVP Mix on Youtube. It had about 10 minutes of clips from different games and shooting competitions- it was great. A good friend of ours spent a couple hours putting together a basketball hoop for us, and so after my Buddy was done watching all the cool passing and other basketball moves, he went outside to practice some of the same moves. He made some awesome shots and did some pretty fancy dribbling for such a young boy. Isn't it amazing how they model what they see and admire? Good reminder for me!!!
